220 ministries Visitation tour 2010

Hello friends and fans of the 220.

You might be in this group and don’t know what it’s all about. I feel I need to briefly tell you about the 220.

The 220 is the name of a movement of people that believe in or share the same vision. God is promising a revival to the world where church will happen in the streets and young people will play a big part in it – a VERY big part.

I have had a ministry called “housofire” that God had used for a season in the lives of roughly 30 young individuals, I prophetically spoke into their lives and equipped them to have hunger for God, passion for souls and to expect revival – AND to know God is going to use them.

Well, housofire closed down under some unsavory circumstances which have been sorted out among those involved. I am glad to report: once again, the Glory of God hangs in the tent of meeting where young people revel in God’s sweet honey, devouring the bread from heaven and swim in the river of God.

Great days are ahead of us and I am expecting a major move of God in this generation.

My ministry hasn’t stopped. In my Wilderness, I have written a couple prophetic books and authored a successful blog about revival and South Africa. I have moved that blog and all of my resources to form a ministry called 220generation and placed it on a dotcom domain. That’s where the 220 or this Facebook group comes from.

My intention here is to give you a little history and to tell you that my ministry is flourishing. God is showing me things in the Spirit which I am sometimes restrained to share with even my own counsel. But I believe everything God gives us is for a specific time.

I invite you to engage with the material on my website. There are videos, audios, messages, articles and E-books all about revival. I am personally sitting in the Glory of God the entire day; I saturate my spirit and wash myself with the Word of God by listening to my own personal stash of revival material that let’s the fire grow in me each day. All of this material is available on my website.

I am still the same person and have even bigger vision than before. God is gracious and he is blessing me and my ministry immensely. We here at the 220 are bearing fruit and the ebbs and flows of the waves of God is about to crash the shores of a Church that will realize that the walls are coming down.

2010 is a year of revival for especially South Africa. I spoke a word in a meeting early this year and said: “The world cup is not about soccer, it is a test to see where your heart is, what you hunger for, and therefore we will see renewals, refreshing and restoration come from the heavens, but will touch all those who are not distracted and have their eyes on the author and finisher of their faith”. This word wasn’t well received, because it means we are going to be challenged with issues on money and where does our focus lie. 2010 will be “make or break” for most of us in ministry and in our spiritual lives.

God has also spoken to me and gave me a statement with three phrases. He said “The presence, the anointing, the visitation” and as he spoke to me these words, He illuminated Luke 19:28-48 for me. We are picking apart these Scriptures in youth at the moment and receive it as a prophetic word. It is already available on our podcast page on the website, feel free to hear what God is saying about 2010 and this generation. I have preached four messages so far and releasing them as God allows me to. I am convinced of this one thing, God is going to visit this generation.

The Bible says that we perish because of a lack of knowledge. Luke 19:44 in the Amplified says for us to not miss our visitation we need to do 3 things:

1)       Recognize the visitation,

2)      Know it and;

3)      Understand it through experience and observation.

This generation must know what God is about to do and I endeavor to tell them about it.

So, this year I set out my faith to minister this word about a visitation and revival in 2010. I have also, by faith, set out a plan how I believed God was going to use me and I placed certain regions down for a visit. It seems that those were prophetic as invitations have already come through from some of those regions and we plan to minister in them for a week or under.

So far my planned itinerary for 2010 are as follows:

I will minister in Kenya from 15 to 20 April. If you are in Kenya and would like us to minister at your church or youth organization, please contact me before 1 April 2010.

We have had an invitation to India to minister to a series of Churches in mid May. If you are from India and would like us to minister at your church or youth organization, please contact me before 15 April 2010.

We are then also invited to minister in Uganda in August. Also, if you’re from Uganda and would like us to minister in your Church or organization, please contact me before 20 July 2010.

I will be doing a session in Johannesburg for a youth conference and also plan to be speaking at a youth camp in Cape Town. On top of these I will be teaching at Target Life which is a gap year program, from the second term.

I also believe we need to release this word in Gauteng in March. If you would like us to come to your Church and minister this word please get in contact with us.

If you are from any other region in South Africa or another country, and you would like us to come minister at your Church, youth, conference or event, please contact us today.

We are very excited for God’s word he has been speaking regarding this generation of young people.

Now, we have a lot of these destinations planned but need great support for our ministry. God is faithful and he is blessing us greatly. At this moment, our travel needs are to be met. I don’t like telethons and condemnation filled newsletters asking for money and playing on your feelings with pictures of orphans… we WILL minister to those as our ministry in Kenya, Uganda and India will be a great focus on that, but we need to get there first.

So, I’m not going to say anything except that I am making the need known and leave it at that. If you would like to contribute to our week long meetings in these countries, please get in touch with me ivinv@uskonet.com

I’m not going to prophesy your returns and prosperity, you should know that you will reap what you sow and God loves a cheerful giver. I know air-tickets are a great expense but we have no other means of getting there. You could even buy the tickets for us if we supply you with dates or sow your voyager miles. Either way, you will be a blessing to us and those we are to minister to.

I also know that plain tickets cost an extravagant amount of money, but you can help with giving a little according to your ability or according to what God places in your heart. Every little bit helps, and it will add to a great blessing to send us on our tour. Do not be discouraged if you only have two mites, it might just be more than the offering of the rich.

I thank you for reading thus far and hope you will partner with us while we send this word out to all nations. Partner by contributing and praying for us.

I leave you with a word from my dear friend Martin Prinsloo to help us reflect on our hearts: “If Christ is not your ultimate need, your need will not be met”.
