  I met Pastor Ivin early 2007 when he was the youth pastor of Solid Rock Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. He started a ministry there called: Houseofire. I was already saved that time, but didn't really know the meaning of knowing God intimately. As we walked into the church building it looked more like a night club, but man was the Holy Spirit present. Pastor Ivin preached a message that night where he used an illustration from a Bubbaloo chappy. I didn't really take anything in that night, but made notes, I went over the message by the time I got home. His teaching the youth this way teaching a great blessing.

The vision Pastor Ivin had for that youth was one of the most important things I started to live by: "The vision is Jesus, obsessively,dangerously....." He said in one of his meetings that we are there to be the light to the world, people must see through the way we live and do things that Jesus is in our lives, we cant expect people to believe in Jesus and not showing how much he loves us.

We had a youth conference in 2007 and Pastor Ivin was preaching about the life of a teenager. I was always scared to be alone and I always wanted to have a boyfriend in my life, know the new trends and just be up to date with the things of the world, even though I know it was wrong. That night Pastor Ivin shared that there are more important things in the Kingdom of God than in the world." I made a vow to God that night that I will not date another person unless he shows me that this person is my husband, it all took very good discipline and also to seek Gods face more and more. But I've made it, never dated a guy until I met my husband in the same church and we are married today.

As time went by we went to by we went to Solid Rock church but sor some or other reason couldn't wait for youth on Friday nights. The message, the vibe, everything was just amazing. Pastor Ivin taught us a lot about serving, I didn't know what he meant by having a serving heart, but quickly got the privilege to learn. He said you can also give to God by serving. He was the example to us, he didn't just teach us to serve but he served as well. Remember that Jesus was also a servant; you will get blessed in serving, and man I am blessed after serving in our church.

He always said: "If you can't move a chair how do you want to move the world", "If you can't shake the vacuum cleaner out, how do you want to shake the world".  "Surround yourself with positive people". "Serve out of your own will and you will be blessed".

That is where my whole life changed. I wanted to serve God not just in what people can see but with all my heart. He sowed so much into my life that whenever I closed my eyes I could feel the Spirit of God with me.

It wasn't always that easy, I still had a long way to go. I was also on Ps. Ivin's counsel which meant we were able to spend more time with Ivin and his wife, Elsabe. They poured into our lives what God was showing them, I experienced tremendous growth.

We went on a Boot Camp in 2008 where we were part of an army that God spoke to Ivin about. We were so blessed by the Word he shared with us, teaching us and the way he always use illustrations to bring the Word to the young people. I have never seen any group of young people so radical for God than after that camp, and the effect was lasting. Me and my husband used to talk about the camp just after we came home, and for the first time in my life I knew what Jesus has planned for my life, but he used Pastor Ivin to make me see that.

PS. Ivin left our Church and we saw him again after that where he gave me his book: "Vision for a generation". These are the words he wrote inside: "Elsabe, stay marching on the frontlines and don't forget your marching orders. Don't lose your passion or quench the fire burning in your life... "

Those are the words I will live by for the rest of my life and if ever I feel that my fire wants to quench I will just go and read his book again and again. The Lord has changed my life through this man of God's ministry, simply by teaching us the Word and also in the way that he teached us to serve in the church and in the work of the Lord has called us to. PS. Ivin and his wife are my mentors.

Dear Ivin

I just wanted to thank you for every thing that you have taught me.

Looking at where I am today and the opportunities that have been given to me, I wouldn't have been the same if you had not taught me.

I especially am grateful for all the lessons on serving, where ever I see things being done for the kingdom I just have the need to serve, and because of it so many doors have been opened for me and I have had great favor.

Last year I went to a revival freak out camp and when all the leaders where tidying up I just had to help, one of them was almost puzzled and asked me why I wanted to help all the time, and I told her that I couldn't help it, that it was in my blood. When I see some thing of God I just can't control my self I need to help and serve, I never used to be like that but now I would gladly scrub toilets with a toothbrush if it was for the kingdom. But it wouldn't have been so if not for you teaching me.

But it was not just the teaching on serving; you also taught me ways of life, about having a passion for God, and never giving up and so the list goes on, you always pushed us and told us to aim high. All of this stuff taught me valuable lessons for life I have even shared it with other people and encouraged them to do the same.

Hello

Revival College, an extention of 220generation, is for those Christians who want to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in the full measure of His Spirit and the full effectiveness that changed the world as predestined by the Father.

Since i have joined the School I have found that the effective teaching of the Word, the true testimony of Jesus Christ and soaking upon those things which we learn has opened a new level of expectation in my heart. I have received a confirmation of what the Holy Spirit says about the Law of God which is perfect and whose focus is to reveal Jesus Christ to us.

I am now beginning to understand a fraction of what it will take to be a vessel of revival in this thirsty land. And i think most of all, I have had a chance to consider the following: Am i truly saved? What is the purpose of Salvation? What does it mean to be saved? Are all those who say they are saved really saved? Is salvation a once off event? Above all I was led to consider the price of my salvation.

I have started to explore Jesus in all the books of the Bible.. and see Him as He really is..

In short, a portal to enter and live in the manifest Kingdom Of God has been opened. Revival College and 220generation is an arrow pointing to The Door. Jesus Saves ...... Amen.

Good Day

This is my personal testimony about my exposure of Ivin Viljoen's ministry.

Since I have known Ivin, he was full of fire to expand the kingdom of God, reach as many young people as possible. Ivin has an extraordinary anointing on his life and everything he touches is blessed.

In the time of Housofire he showed magnificent leadership, developing everyone in his circle that caught his vision. He is a self starter and gets the ball rolling. He is awesome in equipping disciples for the work they have been called for. He is able to help anyone reach the full potential of the calling and anointing God has inspired them with.  

He is surely a Good Shepard to the people and myself. I recommend any ministry he attempts and encourage anyone who feel called to it to join in his vision and mission - it's from God.
